SCL3711 Contactless USB Smart Card Reader
The ultra-compact, convenient and yet robust SCL3711 contactless USB smart card reader works with all major ISO14443 A&B smart cards in various form factors as well as NFC enabled devices. The functional solid mechanical design without any removable parts to loose, is tailored to make the SCL3711 being perfect for mobile users and frequent travellers. The reader provides best contactless performance and yet is small enough for being a real travel companion.
The state-of-the-art contactless multi-protocol device qualifies the SCL3711 to be used in a wide range of applications, e.g. loyalty programs, e-Couponing and ID schemes, secure logical access to computers and networks or secure authentication for Business-to-Business and Business-to-Consumer applications.
SCL3711 can be supported by ID Infrastructure's middleware that resides above the PC/SC API and offers better portability of applications and abstraction of smart card related details that need to be handled by applications developed on top of the PC/SC API.
For an easy integration for short time to market an evaluation kit and a solutions development kit are available.
